Aitthipat Kulapongvanich or Top Ittipat was born in November 24, 1984 in Thailand. His parents are Chinese so he is both Thai and Chinese. He educate from kindergarten and elementary at Panapun Wittaya School, high school at St. Francis Xavier School and senior from Suankularb Wittayalai School. Now, he graduate with a bachelor's degree of Business Administration from University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce. He is the CEO of Tao Kae Noi Food & Marketing Co., LTD, the company that dominate 70% of seaweed market share in Thailand.
When he was still 16 years old, he was addicted to online games. Even though he picked up success during playing online games furthermore winning competition prizes due to as much pastime playing online games, he might have been often underestimated by as much his teacher in class. He chose to drop out from school to become chestnut seller at he might have been 17 years old. He invested as much money into selling fried chestnuts, which got famous over Thailand. On 2003, top established Tao Kae Noi (Youth Entrepreneur) Food and Marketing Co., Ltd. He is famous over business circles. He’s just 23 years old, began as much benefits of the business toward oneself with as much benefits of the business brilliance, and will be delicately referred to in Thailand presently. He may be the vast majority well-known to as much item Tao Kae Noi, a fried seaweed snack, which may be sold around those Asia-Pacific area.
As stated above, Top Ittipat is a successful, young and brilliant entrepreneur. He is an open risk taker. It is very hard to find someone that is brave enough to take risks in doing business. We can see this kind of trait in him when he reoriented his business efforts from gaming, DVD player and nuts business to other business which is seaweed snacks. He knew that at that time people are not familiar with seaweed and apparently it will not be profitable to the business. He dare to make a decision that he should try to invent something special since nobody selling it. So Top Ittipat was taking a risk, yet it brings him to success as a founder of seaweed snacks that popular in Asia until now.
Top Ittipat is a person who always perseverance. We can see this kind of trait in him when he failed to do a few business before he finally success to run the seaweed business. At the age of 16 years, he start to run online games business. Top earn money from selling items his weapons in online games. But since the business is illegal, the top online gaming accounts were closed and blocked by the bank because it engage in transactions that are against the law. Then, he try to run DVD player business and selling chestnuts. Both of the business cannot survive, failed and went bankrupt. We can see that he always keep trying to do something so failure is not an obstacle for him but as a first step towards success.
Self reliance is also one of the trait that have in Top Ittipat. This is because when the online business went bankrupt and their parents also never support him but he still was standing independent to do next business.
Another trait in Top Ittipat is he is a innovative and opportunistic entrepreneur. At first he got an idea and interest of business from the game. His first business is selling PS2 but too bad all of it was broken. So he change his business to selling chestnut. In order to start making chestnut business he try to explore what is the ingredient of chestnut to mix to make it taste good by buying and asking the other and take whole note of it. After some time his chestnut business is getting better, but at some point when his business bankrupt he promise his father not to selling chestnut again. This cause he have no choice but to close his chestnut business. He try to find other type of business to sell. When he got an idea of selling seaweed instead of chestnut he start to plan on making seaweed business. Since he found out that his business is going well he start to plan on selling to other country. He need to approve from the 7 eleven where they make a delivery to another county. Although his family do not support at what he does. His innovative and opportunistic to gain income are so great that he never put a stop to what does good in. By setting inventories in computer games to setting his ultimate seaweed formula. He is now the first youngest billionaire.
He is an initiative entrepreneur. We can this trait in him when he got the inspiration to make fried seaweed and he bought some seaweed but stale within 1 week, it made him wonder and professor in the field of food to come to resolve this issue. The professor helped make Top perishable food so as not to create a vacuum packing and replace with nitrogen. Then the next challenge is not to make the Top seaweed is bad because it tastes bitter after being fried. He and his uncle more than 28 million for seaweed trials but failed, until all the seaweed out. We can see that he always take initiative to make better.
Other than that, Top is a person who always have self confidence. This is because Top is also trying to find a bank to loan money to start a new business. However, the bank did not just approve it. At this point the Top starting to realize his mistake having been neglecting school and lessons. After finally get a loan from a bank, everything he tried to do, Top tried to sell peanuts (chestnut) along with his uncle. Begins with figuring out how to sell a good strategy in order to be sold to other peanut seller who has been successful to do some experimentation to get the best recipe for peanut products that have a distinctive flavor and unique. His self confidence became him a billionaire now.
Lastly, Top Ittipat is always need to achieve more. This is because Top trying to find out about the different sales strategies. He is even willing to learn directly from the market with wonder to the traders. Inspiration came when he was shopping in one of the mini market, 7-Eleven. He applied the method ever taught when in the course of which his father managed. Previously his father were forced to enter the Top attend courses because business can not afford to go in college because of cost reasons. The method of expansion of sales to various countries. Again, not as easy as turning the palm of the hand. 7-Eleven turned out to have a high standard that must be met in order to enter the market Top products. He is always never stop to achieve in any situation.
